The VAIA CAR TLPS-6500 type points and track laying system is 48.5 m long and has a standard lifting capacity of 62 tons. This system is ideal for track panel construction, for the installation of pre-assembled points, and for tunnel and bridge work. It enables components to be assembled elsewhere and transports pre-assembled points to the work site, placing them in the precise position required, keeping it in perfect condition and avoiding deflection, torsion, compression and twisting.
The TLPS-6500, consists, essentially, of:
1 TLP-650 supporting beam, 34.5 metres long, complete with hydraulic tools for hooking the panel or points to be moved. On the beam there are two telescopic ends (each 7 m. in length) which fasten the part of the track or points that exceeds the beam, thereby preventing it from swinging, and one mechanical sliding intermediate telescopic extension (optional) 8 metres in length which enables the extending of the beam, making it possible to hook and move track panels totalling 60 metres in length;
2 SIC-600 hydraulic, tracked, self-propelled lifting machines for moving the entire system;
2 ETS-600 rail trolleys for transferring the entire system onto rail.

The VAIACAR TLPS-6500 type system, constructed following the current Community Directives, has been CE certified and is in compliance with all the applicable standards.
